The Pros and Cons of the GMO
Pros
- potentially produce higher crop yields, and can avoid hungers problem in most developing countries, because they can produce more and feed more people
-economical, instead of spending cost on seeds.
- reduce the using of pesticides and herbicides, and also the use of mans
- this engineered plants, can actually withstand with the extreme weather which can avoid the problems of to feed the poor
-its also contain high nutrients and help those that lack in diet for some group population
Cons
- can cause allergy-ness because some products produced are combined with other genes, which are causes to allergy to some people
- reducing the number of the extinction of that organism
-lead to lower level of biodiversity due to the organisms that are main foods for one animals are no longer available
-might cause new disease for human
